Good character win from the team. Berra is awful, though I'm not surprised. I'm expecting tomorrow to be an ugly game against the Hawks, we'll probably be trounced. Though I hope Pickard has a good start.

Pickard was a stud. Very fortunate way to end the game and I hope Johnson will be okay.

Really hope they don't carry this trend into a game against Chicago. It would be nice for them to get off to a quick start instead of sitting back and waiting for that third goal against. What a bizarre couple of games.

Berra is just a pile of garbage in a trade that made no sense when it happened.......his play is doing little to justify that. This has swing and a miss written all over it.

What a fun game to watch though. Have to admit, whatever they changed last week regarding defensive zone coverage, I believe every game since that point our shots for/against have been way better. We looked dominant out there at times last night.

Sadly with that extension we are stuck with him for a while, unless they plan on buying him out. Don't think anyone would trade for him right now. Its crazy, when we were giving up 40+ shots a game he looked sharp, when we cut that down dramatically he starts giving up softies in the 1st period.

Goalies are a strange bird...but I like what Picks is doing out there, maybe Roy is finally starting to have Faith in some of younger guys and hopefully we start to see guys like Seimens come into the line up soon (did you see his fight recently, talk about a scary human being)
